Retired Chicagoan. Love my family, democracy, the Cubs the Beatles and the $2 bill.

We can't let this a$$hole beat us.
Whomever is in charge of supplying fake laughter on the #GoldenGlobes broadcast is really working hard tonight.

How much of that 27 years is he likely to actually serve? I assume he's got 3 years already for time served

That’s also been his approach, historically, to women.

As absurd as that is, that is 100% true.

It's false to say the two are related.

Education is a separate issue and there is no legitimate reason to link them.

BTW, the US is not a Hellhole, but our leader is a monster and we need to focus on electoral regime change.

He attended military school for children with behavioral problems.

You can’t blame what he is on the education system. He’s a narcissistic sociopath.

You would think a 79 year old man would know the difference between receiving an award that is deserved and taking an award by extortion.

The latter is the opposite of "an honor."

"The character who stole Pee-wee Herman's bike in the 1985 movie Pee-wee's Big Adventure is named Francis Buxton...Pee-wee's spoiled, selfish, and wealthy rival.

Francis is obsessed with obtaining Pee-wee's Nobel Peace Prize. When Pee-wee refuses to sell it, Francis hires someone to steal it..."

He's rich and controls the world's most powerful military force.

Yet, he's obsessed with acquiring something of no tangible value, that he didn't win and doesn't deserve.

Absurdly, he thinks it will mean he is great and respected.

He has a hole in his soul that can never be filled.

If you needed proof that Trump's Venezuelan adventure is a terrible idea and bad for America, look no further:

Paul Vallas (and whomever ghosted this for him) approves: www.chicagotribune.com/2026/01/06/o...
Paul Vallas: Nicolás Maduro is not just a corrupt leader. He’s also a direct threat to US security.
The Venezuelan leader had been under U.S. indictment since 2020 when the U.S. accused him of using the country as a criminal enterprise.
