I did this for a game jam a few months back. I've always been a fan of David Wise's music for the DKC games--truly groundbreaking stuff with synths and samples. I doubt I'd be starting a career as a games composer without Mining Melancholy and so this is a tribute. #nostalgia #gamemusic #donkeykong

I'm testing out some fun tape and distortion plugins and this is what came out. The main synth lines (bass, pads, plucks, strings) are all Plogue's excellent Chipsynth MD, and the guitar is one that I sampled myself and played via MIDI. Thoughts? #lofi #crunchy #gameaudio #chiptune #plogue

I just finished playing through this one, it's beautiful. Very much a great example of escapist art as expression.
Boo? Footage from pexels (edited by me), but all of the audio is mine, including sound effects and pitched notes. If you're running a pirates-themed DND campaign and you need background ambience, this should be up on streaming tomorrow. #gameaudio #sounddesign #ambience #horror #spooky #composing

I love how fluid this animation is! I know that recent game dev adage about wanting "smaller games with worse graphics" means well (and I agree with the broader sentiment of it), but there is nothing "worse" about graphics like these. There's a lot of heart and feel here.
