They made pledges.

They advertised their progress and "solutions".

The goal of the 2016 Paris Agreement is to hold #climatechange as close as possible to 1.5º C & well under 2.0º C, reaching #NetZero emissions by 2050 (it keeps getting hotter until Net Zero is reached).

They anticipated having 30+ yrs, but we're blowing it in 10!

We all need to pay attention! The word #climate is coming to mean so many things: #EVs, #wind, #solar, tree planting, #offsets.

Yet, we have a handful of years to cut fossil fuel emissions in HALF, or we lose our last decent shot at holding off 2.0ºC.

...And the #fossilfuel industry is expanding!
