Respect and solidarity to the people at #Glasto. I was *wiped out* by last night. The kids spent the weekend, by turns, zonked flat out on sofas with the suffering cat or tantrumy, crazed, risk-taking demons. Our safest place right now is next to the open fridge door. British heatwaves, amiright?

Event organizers have put out a call for international solidarity to peacefully support the local community. Safety comes from numbers, and the more international people who attend, the more work it will take to use automated surveillance to suppress expression.

Happy to see promises of a rethink by Labour leadership on the benefits proposals. Also that my MP David Williams was amongst the signatories to the amendment. Don't tend to think of him as the rebellious sort but he has a wealth of relevant experience.

I'm learning more about the positive stuff Labour are hiding under the headline-bait from some of their fiercest critics on Tik Tok. Meanwhile the Reform etc fans still seem to hate them. So, in terms of whatever their goals are, is it working?
