In a world where there is an Adolf, be a Churchill.
The coming years shall demand our utmost courage, vigilance, and resolve. But fear not, for the strength of determined minds and unyielding spirits shall see us through the storm.
What are we celebrating? The bones of a republic trampled by greed and power. A flag waved over cages, corruption crowned in robes, and a carnival barker president drooling lies. This isn’t patriotism—it’s parody. And today, we toast the wreckage.
What, exactly, are we celebrating tomorrow?

Our cutting off healthcare to the needy to enrich the greedy?

Our new concentration camps?

Our dying economy?

Our ditching due process?

Our corruption?

Our broken legislature?

Our corrupt SCOTUS?

Our ridiculous buffoon president? #FourthOfJuly

How poetic—and chilling. A red cap worn like a crown of delusion, hailed by those who claim to follow truth while exalting a false prophet. When faith becomes fandom and prophecy becomes politics, beware. Revelation warned us not of outsiders, but of those within the fold.

"On Tyranny" is a #1 NYT bestseller again. I wish the moment were different. But I’m glad the book is useful. And grateful for all the kind words about putting the 20 lessons to work.

If I finish a book a week, I will read only a few thousand books in my lifetime, about a tenth of a percent of the contents of the greatest libraries of our time. The trick is to know which books to read.

New York defies the order, and rightly so. When the state refuses to gut equity from its schools, it proves that not all shall kneel to ignorance. Let this be a signal: education is not a tool of tyranny—it is the shield against it. Bravo, New York. Stand firm.

Ah, divine selection, is it? And when the heavens ran short on locusts, they sent… him? A curious choice indeed. If that is providence, one wonders what pestilence was held in reserve. Blind faith is no excuse for foolish allegiance.

@hillaryclinton.bsky.social Ah, Lady Clinton joins our digital ranks at last! A seasoned warrior of the political fray, sharp of wit and steady of aim. Welcome to Bluesky, Madam Secretary—may your voice add steel to the cause of reason, and give the fools something to tremble about.

The NIH, a pillar of progress, now dismantled by buffoons who fear knowledge more than disease. They gut research, silence experts, and call it ‘freedom’—when in truth, it is surrender to ignorance. A nation that abandons science does not advance; it stumbles, blind, into ruin.

Once again, the charlatan stood before his sycophants, weaving a web of lies. He boasted of ‘beautiful’ tariffs, ignoring the ruin they bring. He claimed border victories where only chaos reigns. A leader who builds on falsehoods builds a nation on sand

Indeed, it is not the tyrant who poses the greatest threat, but the masses who, in their blind devotion, empower his every folly. A despot without followers is merely a madman; with them, he becomes a menace to the world. Vigilance against such folly is the duty of every free citizen.
I'm past being frightened. I am now enraged. They all deserve the FAFO that is happening to them.

It is March 2, 2025. My plan was to leave the world on March 2, 2024.

What a difference in a year. I still have bad days. But reasons to stay are easier to find each day.

Thankful for family, for friends, for library kids who ARE going to save the world. Once a library kid, always a library kid 💚

Border Czar sneers at Boston, as if it were a city to be cowed. Foolishness of the highest order! Boston was forged in revolution, in defiance, in the blood of those who stood unbowed against tyranny. To say ‘bring it’ to Boston is to invite a lesson in resilience—one history shall not soon forget

To snub a wartime ally, to humiliate a man fighting for his nation's very survival—such cowardice shall stain history’s pages. Strength is not found in appeasing tyrants but in standing firm against them. This disgrace serves only our enemies, and the free world will not forget it.

History records mighty empires laid low not by swords, but by pestilence. Rome, Athens, even Napoleon’s Grand Army—all undone by disease. And now, we stand on the precipice, led by a fool with the scientific grasp of a medieval peasant, courting catastrophe with ignorance as his banner.

Thomas Jefferson warned us well: ‘If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.’ Freedom without knowledge is but a hollow shell, ripe for the taking by charlatans and despots. Let us heed this lesson before it is too late.
Education is (the) key.

A Department of Faith? Government decreeing belief? This is the foul breath of tyranny, the very perversion of liberty. Faith, when dictated by the state, ceases to be faith at all—it becomes a tool of control. I warn you, once the pulpit serves the throne, freedom is but a whisper in the wind

MAGA—Make America Germany, Adolf? A fitting slogan for those who march, blind and proud, toward the abyss. History’s fools don’t see the danger until the boots are at their own door. Let them cheer their strongman; we who know better shall stand firm against the tide of tyranny!
