I whole heartedly stand with the teacher on this one! Everyone should always be welcome in a classroom. In my opinion, what the district is doing does not create a safe and welcoming environment for all. It is a teacher’s/school’s job to create that! Good for Sarah! #EveryoneIsWelcomeHere.

Sugarcane has officially been nominated for the Oscar for Best Documentary! Check it out this weekend and make a residential school denialist mad.
Residential school denialists don’t want you to watch Sugarcane - a new documentary about the St. Joseph’s Indian Residential School that’s getting Oscar buzz and is now streaming on Disney+ and Hula. That’s good enough reason to check it out and learn about the ongoing legacy of the IRS system.

Completely agree! Helping teachers to learn and grow their universal strategies helps ALL learners in a class. We don’t need separation, we need to build community. It increases everyone’s sense of belonging and confidence. #EduSky #InclusiveEd #LeadInclusion
👩‍🏫 Sometimes #teachers request special educators pull students from their class because they lack of confidence in their skills. Supporting teachers is as important as supporting students. #LeadInclusion #EduSky #UDL #InclusiveEd #EdLeaders
