Help make the @umassamherst.bsky.social campus bird friendly! Since 2022, hundreds of student volunteers have found 100s of bird-window collisions. With $2100 we can put up bird-safe window coverings on one of the deadliest buildings. You can donate here: minutefund.uma-foundation.org/project/46296

Musk too? Why does he not wear a suit?
This reporter beclowned himself. 🤡 I guess this is the new Trumpy press corp?
GLENN: Why don't you wear a suit? You're at the highest level in this country's office & you refuse to wear a suit. A lot of Americans have problems with you not respecting the office.

ZELENSKYY: I will wear a costume after this war will finish. Maybe something like yours. Maybe something better.

All of the birders who have traveled to and enjoyed Colombia. among other places, over the last decade or so should know that USAID is the entity that helped fund much of the ecotourism and conservation infrastructure that we get to enjoy there.

The birding trails. The lodges. The land. All of it.
USAID is a massive funder of global biodiversity conservation

Shutting it down will accelerate the extinction of endangered species and the collapse of our life support systems

hey, what’s that stuff everyone likes to get them through the day and a lot of it comes from Colombia?
President Donald Trump has retaliated with steep tariffs and immediately revoked visas of Colombian officials after the nation’s president said his country would not accept U.S. deportation flights.

Success – an important win for nature! 🐝

Today, the UK Government made the only sensible choice - listening to the science and upholding the ban on neonicotinoids.

This pesticide doesn’t belong in our countryside. Farmers now need support to adopt nature-friendly alternatives.
Just 1 teaspoon of neonicotinoids can kill 1.25 BILLION bees.

Yesterday, over 1 million voices told the UK Government: stop allowing banned pesticides in our countryside.

DEFRA, it’s time to end ‘emergency’ use.

Protect pollinators vital to nature's recovery & our food security.
