Damn right. We're smaller, but we have a humongous trade and kinship with people in "the states", which represents a large operational risk to any military operation against us. This kinship was about family, but also shared stakes in wars we fought together. This betrayal deserves loud complaints.
No, I will not mind my own business about things that happen in the United States. The Americans have no qualms about butting into the affairs of other countries. When a demented US President threatens to annex Canada, you’re damn right I’ll make a lot of noise.
