My sister-in-law was in from Madrid, visiting LA for the first time I think. I took her to a sushi place but assured her we probably wouldn’t see a celebrity. And there was Rob Reiner a few tables over with a group of people, smiling and laughing. One of the greatest.

A bottle of white wine and a rough flight one hour in and I’ll tell you that Mission Impossible: the Final Reckoning is the best movie ever made. I have no idea what’s happening but I feel it. It’s the most impressionistic big budget action movie I’ve ever seen and Hayley Atwell is a star.
