Investigating LAPD-press incidents in Los Angeles on Saturday. No doubt LAPD violated court injunction. Just a question of how bad.

So far I think only minor injuries to press. Still confirming. Not a passing grade regardless.

Preliminary leads in blue at top. Please share evidence if you have!

Several LAPD arrests against the wall at Metro Detention Center. Looks to my eye to be more than five and less than 10. National Lawyer’s Guild representatives shouting advice from the other side of the line.

Even in the face of the SCOTUS decision in Mahmoud v. Taylor—the latest attempt to undermine the humanity of LGBTQ+ families—parents, students, & school leaders should know that California’s robust inclusive education & anti-discrimination laws remain strong. www.aclusocal.org/en/news/cali...
California Law Has Not Changed: Inclusive Education is Here to Stay

This morning, Border Patrol agents hiding in Penske rental trucks raided a Home Depot in Los Angeles to grab day laborers standing around, which the Border Patrol's current CA lead Gregory Bovino called "Operation Trojan Horse."

Raises very serious questions about violation of the court order.

Hiding in Penske trucks at a Home Depot and calling it “Operation Trojan Horse”…

I just. I mean. The longer we allow the GOP to kidnap brown people and put them in concentration camps, the more complicit we become.

Incredibly important read. This is exactly what LAPD did to me and two other legal observers standing on a quiet street corner this past weekend—except with rubber bullets, not pepperballs, and aimed at our heads, not our feet.

…oh, and the officer waved tauntingly right before shooting at us.
