No joke: I got angry hate mail today for writing an obituary of a Black woman scientist—because the person felt she did didn’t deserve the recognition.

Our constitutional right to free speech and peaceful protest is under attack.
If we lose the right to protest, we stand to lose so much more.
The criminalizing of protest and dissent has a long history in America
The Trump administration is accusing protesters of ‘domestic terrorism’ but this brazen tactic is as old as the country itself

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche needs to resign.

He got the law wrong about patronizing sex parties with alleged child trafficking. He failed to redact names of victims & pictures of children. AND he moved Ghislaine Maxwell to a minimum-security prison & got her a puppy.

Aliya Rahman is a disabled woman who was violently dragged from her car by ICE while on her way to a specialist’s appointment

She clearly told agents “I’m disabled”

Their response? “Too late”

They smashed her window. Cut off her seatbelt. Dragged her face down with her arms tied behind her back.
