The far-right activist Tommy Robinson led a carol concert to “put the Christ back into Christmas” on Saturday in an event that had a huge drop-off in attendance from his last rally in London.
The Metropolitan police said about 1,000 people attended the event at its peak, in stark contrast to the estimated 110,000 who turned up to Robinson’s “unite the kingdom” rally in September. Continue reading...

Predator Badlands met and more than exceeded my expectations. Probably the most emotionally varied Predator film, superb VFX, Elle Fanning is exceptional, a worthy follow on to Prey. If ANYONE ever does another Alien v Predator movie, it should be Dan Trachtenberg

watched No Country for Old Men for the first time since the cinema. Goddamn that’s good. Hits differently with a few more years under my belt. Gorgeously shot film from Deakins, both in terms of what it just *looks* like but how economical the shots are

With the success of Alien Earth, I’m finally watching the original composer’s isolated track for Alien and, having had such fun seeing the isolated score tracks on the last 3 mission impossibles, I really do think it should be a MUCH more common practice to include isolated score tracks for the home
