Carsie Blanton has been taken captive by Israel (in international waters) for trying to get food to Gaza. In particular, baby food and rice. Trying to keep more children from starving to death shouldn't be a crime or a revolutionary act and yet, here we are.

Today, I reconnected with a friend I haven't spoken to since about 1994. Our falling out was stupid and I should have swallowed my pride and apologized a long, long time ago. Now that I have, I feel like I've healed a piece of my heart. Turns out, it's never really too late to say you're sorry.
