I watched the CEO on the Amber Mac podcast last week because I was curious what was taking so long. He said that they initially planned to base the app off of the Bluesky app. When they got into it, they couldn’t do all of the things they wanted. So they started from scratch.

That’s fair. As someone who works in customer service, I’m sure I wouldn’t appreciate being recorded.

I do feel though that people will talk about bad customer service far and wide even without video. It may not go viral, but can do just as much damage.

I would say that it is more the departments that are not present during a normal show that frequently forget HM’s. Or even better, assume that we can make magic happen with little to or no notice. I love surprising and delighting people, but I need to be in a good mental health place to do so.
