More magic per minute than a theme park—just ask the 200,000 passengers who came through SEA on Sunday, now the busiest day in our history! That’s more than 2.5x the daily crowds at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure combined.

Telling elected officials that voting "no" or "abstain" is a violation of their oath of office...something I didn't think I'd see a city manager say.
Burien Officials Excoriate Councilmembers Who Opposed New Restrictions on Church-Based Encampments

City manager Adolfo Bailon suggested council members were violating their oath of office by abstaining or voting against the legislation, which was designed to curtail authorized encampments.

Phew....the Seattle process in writing...
I have the amendment now. Along with requiring a new three-stage process with every permit application around a Community Outreach Plan, it would make a construction management plan *mandatory* with every single permit issued on a light rail project.

These changes are huge.

All eyes have been on Seattle and Tacoma, key entry points for goods imported from Asia, as consumers and social media sleuths try to predict when tariffs could show up on store shelves. The two countries have announced they’ll temporarily reduce the tariffs that threatened to grind trade to a halt.
Tariffs are paused. Will the ports of Seattle, Tacoma rebound?
The constantly shifting currents of the trade war between the U.S. and China have led to an obsession with the ports over the past few weeks.
