And they do all this while publicly maintaining that they are the most transparent administration ever. smh
Jack Smith wants to testify in public - Republicans refuse.

He wants his depo tape made public - no again.

The second strike boat video? - nope.

Epstein files law complied with? - not today.

Vote on ACA? - maybe next year.

Republicans: Hide, obstruct, lie, delay, deny.

According to these guys there is no such thing as an independent agency. I'm sure they will change their mind on that as soon as a Democrat is in office. All of a sudden the Executive will not be quite as powerful.
LUHAN: Is the FCC an independent agency?

CARR: I think th---

L: Yes or no

C: There's a test for this in the la---

L: It's yes or no, Brendan! On your website, it simply says, man, 'the FCC is independent.' This isn't a trick question

C: The FCC is not

L: So is your website lying?

C: Possibly

This fucking moron is going to get American soldiers killed for no reason!
President Trump said Wednesday that the U.S. seized an oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela amid mounting tensions with the government of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.

China was the largest export market for American farmers in 2024. They bought 27 metric tons of soybeans last year. They stopped buying in 2025 when Trump started his trade war. These are simple, obvious, basic facts. bsky.app/profile/atru...
Leavitt: "President Trump convinced President Xi to continue purchasing again American soybeans, which is something China wasn't doing under the last administration because they had no respect for President Biden or the country at the time."

As with everything he says, this is wildly uninformed. Formula keeps getting better and saves lives. And modern research indicates that outcomes are roughly the same. There are reasons to breastfeed but your child isn’t suffering if you don’t
RFK Jr: "All of the ingenuity of corporate America has not produced an infant formula that is superior in nutrition and all the qualities that we want to the infant formula that God made, which is the infant formula in a mother's breast."

What a coincidence it just happened to be the same amount as the bailout he had to give farmers in his first term. Both times caused by his own stupidity.
Trump: "We did a very, you know, study ahhumm ahhh progression of charts. And we figured out a very exact number and it was about $12 billion."

There's no precedent for anything they do. Just one brazen power grab after another.
Trump’s DOJ claims it has the power to decide who is covered by his vague sweeping 2020 pardon.

There's no modern precedent for such a move.

The Justice Department is deciding who's covered by extremely vague pardons.

Huh, apparently when Trump said America First he meant Central/South America First.
Salazar: "In Congress we've understood that China, we need to bring those jobs back. Maybe to the United States, but maybe near-shoring or rear-shoring. Maybe it's time to bring those jobs to Venezuela and to Chile and to Bolivia and to Central and South America. They happen to be in our back yard."

A microcosm of today's political environment.
Marjorie Taylor Greene has been hated by the left for years and never feared for her life. She’s been hated by the right for two days and had to hire security.

"Could" amount to extra judicial killings???
Seems like it would be the definition of extra judicial killings!
“The JAG at Southern Command specifically expressed concern that strikes against people on boats in the Caribbean Sea and the eastern Pacific Ocean…could amount to extrajudicial killings, the six sources said, and therefore legally expose service members involved in the operations.”
Top military lawyer raised legal concerns about boat strikes
The lawyer at U.S. Southern Command, which oversees the operations against alleged drug-smuggling boats near Venezuela, disagreed that the strikes are legal and was overruled, according to six sources...

Cassidy is a medical doctor. He HAS to know what he's saying is bullshit!
How are rural residents supposed to shop around for emergency care? What do they do when there's only one hospital for miles?

Especially when GOP Medicaid cuts are CLOSING those hospitals!
Cassidy: "If she goes and gets 2 types of shampoo & one is a dollar cheaper, she'll get the cheaper one & the other lowers their price. Once you give her the power of making the decision, she's gonna shop -- that begins to save her money and squeezes waste out of the healthcare system."

Probably the least surprising thing I've heard all week. Pardoning a bad person doesn't make them good, it just makes them think they can do whatever they want.
(CBS News) - A pardoned Capitol rioter was arrested last weekend for allegedly threatening to kill House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.
