An authoritarian derives a good deal of their power from fear. Trump’s plan is simple: Accumulate power at an unprecedented rate, use fear to dupe, control or silence, & punish those who he doesn’t like.

None of us can be sure what will “work.” You try multiple things and find your way in. Read some histories of the Civil Rights Movement by those who participated. They were never “sure” of what would work. Some campaigns fizzled out. But persistence, creativity, determination, and focus were key.

They can't eliminate the diversity of this country. It was always here and it always will be here in these places, whether or not the USA itself endures. They can create hierarchy and repression, and we can oppose it by embracing equality and diversity. Si se puede and sic semper tyrannis.
