This happened to me in Trump 1.0 when I called in and the dude said, “wow lots of calls about this issue today!” and I asked how many is a lot and he said “Seventeen!”

And yes, it matters if you call your GOP rep. It rattles them that so many people are calling. Also, show up to their local offices and ask to see them in person. Bring friends with you. Even if they turn you away, that show of numbers matters. And tell them do NOT vote for Vought for OMB.
