I know a lot of us get nervous about making phone calls. But it is important that we let our voices be heard, and I promise, you'll feel SO good when you're done.

Is it weird that I view helping my friends make friends with other friends (who I think would be compatible, friendship isn't always transitive) as part of my professional praxis as a librarian?

Friends and found family are the absolute best ya'll.
Being alone sucks, but you don't have to be, if you can just do the scary thing of reaching out.
And the more you do it, the easier it can get, and then you're seeing friends become friends and the web of connections populates out like magic.
