British media actually despises people being happy and hopeful it’s insane
Can't even go out for a dance without these guys having an opinion!

Gorton & Denton is Greens Vs Reform.

We must make sure hope wins.

Anyone up for a calm, quiet walk in nature? I feel I really need that right now
January 27, 2026 at 5:27 AM
These motherfluffers really picked an insane set up where I now have to do stealth ninja moves to not disturb them as I get ready for sleep (Kuro is now asleep too)

Help I am stuck in an interaction loop with Kuro. She won’t stop purring and I can’t stop petting her cause she’s FUCKING ADORABLE

Labour being allergic to meaningful progress whilst continuing to court Reform tells you all you need to know about how lost they are as a party. I’m getting behind Polanski and the Green machine with everything I have!
Labour say a Green win would be "existential."

Sounds like an invitation....

What's the outcome that terrifies Labour most in the Gorton by-election?

Reform winning?

Nope. It's the Greens they're most worried about.

They'd prefer Reform to win, rather than the Greens.

5am wake up. Run 1 week 8 couch to 5k done. Hot shower (hence the scorched looking skin lol). Now to face the day with a sense of achievement and try shrug off that heavy heart for a lil bit

I will say times like this do make me admire people that keep their hearts open even more. Can see from Bsky here there’s a ton of ya out there and I want you to know you’re seen and appreciated

One of the reasons I'm a hermit is that I am hyper-sensitive to the emotional states of the other humans around me. It can be paralysing. Lately, it feels like I'm drowning under waves of collective grief. Let's carry this heavy weight for each other when we can.

Genuinely thought Kuro was one long sausage cat for a sec until I realised Luna was curled up on the windowsill lmao

Greens taking Manchester would be so damn good, especially after Labour’s latest tribal play. Pisses me off they’ve been ordered to ramp up attack lines on progressives whilst still fawning over Reform

Alex Pretti was an American hero. He saved lives. He protected people. He cared deeply about his community, unlike the murderous thugs who killed him.

The very last thing he did was try to help a woman who had been pepper-sprayed and violently shoved to the ground by ICE. 1/

The BBC has been slowly decaying in front of our eyes for years and this is yet another example of horrendous reporting in their faux pursuit of “both sides.” There is an objective truth here; that an innocent man was brutally and unjustifiably gunned down by a rogue and corrupt operation.
The BBC coverage is absolutely terrible.

It leads on "sharply contested narratives"

It has a dramatic skew to the US government

It has posted the video but has failed to report on what it shows: it shows the US govt account is untrue
January 25, 2026 at 12:01 PM
I’m so sorry America. Latest video is fucking horrific. It’s not enough to abolish ICE anymore; hell even prosecuting them won’t deliver justice to the innocent lives lost. I feel useless this side of the world watching it all unfold

Good morning Bluesky! Hope the day treats you kindly.

I’m less rough than yesterday but still rough, so you will find me under my duvet tucked in a ball

The only party that speaks to my, and so many others, lived experience of modern day UK. This is how you cut through all the noise and get to the heart of what actually matters. Really rooting for the Greens to continue reaching the hearts of so many others.
Help us make hope normal again.

Current trends are promising, especially when you consider we’ve three years until an election. Combine this with Reform becoming Tory party 2.0 and there’s a lot of reason for us to have hope
