It Is divided precisely because of the vile rhetoric around immigration that has led us here, and Labour’s inability to provide an alternative narrative due to how it conflicts with the interests of their corporate overlords

People are beyond tired of Labour’s moral cowardice and attempts to blame some of the most vulnerable people in society for political failings. There are solutions to the immigration system that don’t require this disgusting performative cruelty.

It’s not a race they can win, so even if we park how morally repugnant this all is, it doesn’t even work strategically. At a time where Labour have the best opportunity to do good and improve people’s quality of life, they choose a race to the bottom and their own destruction. I don’t get it.

Can’t imagine them doing well in PR given their only talent seems to be uniting an increasingly fragmented political spectrum against them. Every time I feel we’ve hit the bottom they drill through a new floor

Who does this actually serve? They're despised from both ends of the political spectrum and we all know aggressively targeting immigrants will do nothing to improve people’s quality of life here. Are they really thinking about their post-politics careers already?

People just want to get shots in half the time over having a genuine conversation.

Completely! It legitimises their rise as inevitable and their rhetoric as valid!
