What a awful take. Imagine applying this same logic to film adaptations of other mediums, where you have to be a fan of the original source material in order to adapt it.

Just because he hasn’t played the games doesn’t mean Justin Lin won’t do research of it for the film.

I feel like it’s completely fine to hire a director who doesn’t play video games as long as they’re, you know, actually good at their job and do proper research on the source material with the rest of the writing team.

Other enhancements such and strength and speed have been added in. She is rather a timid individual but in the field she is deadly and efficient. It isn’t known on the extent how far her healing factor can go but she can survive attacks and blows that will normally kill an individual.
