Really sucks that the new wuthering heights adaptation is so bad. Specifically when it comes to casting - both leads are miscast. Sigh. It could have been amazing in defter hands

I see moments like this and all I can think of is the alt right playbook and how horribly evilly well it works. Now Balint looks like she lost bc she’s being “overly emotional” and Bondi gets to be smug and laugh. Control the conversation and never play defense to a T

When I was in HS I had a dream of becoming a photojournalist and recognized and respected their hard work, dedication and compassion, their empathy. Looking at their photos inspired me and now they’re being threatened by billionaires for simply documenting the truth
The Washington Post just laid off its entire award-winning photo team. They were our eyes in places we'll never see. It's a horrifying loss at a time when lying governments, propaganda and AI slop are on the rise.

Just something I’ve noticed as a kpop observer is that at least the boy groups I follow in kpop they’re are like neck down covered. You will not see their bodies unless they’re performing at a concert but generally they’re usually wearing formless clothing

Alice Longyu Gao penned the majority of the song and she was inspired to write it because of how in English a word like gnarly can mean so many things, and that it's supposed to be hyper-pop.
Me seeing people not get the song gnarly and calling it brain rot and holding back my 20 page essay on why it’s layered and not just “dumb”
