It would be so easy for Vance to condemn overt racism and misogyny from a bunch of no-name Republicans in order to send the message that “We’re really not THIS despicable,” but he can’t bring himself to do it. Because they are that despicable, & the worst people are leading the way.

Getting to where I can’t listen to @nytimes Up First anymore. It’s obvious and predictable that Trump admin would use Kirk murder to justify further crackdown on dissent & democracy, but political reporters have to entertain the idea that there’s a legit left wing billionaire terror threat.

@enosarris.bsky.social I no longer have exact stats, but I know for a several years in 70s & 80s Royals (Kauffman) Stadium played like a hitter’s park during home at bats & a pitcher’s park otherwise. Only Vet Stadium did same trick, to lesser degree. Speed on O & D was key. Any parks like that now?
