Can we please get @remhq.bsky.social to update the song to “What’s the Condiment, Kenneth?” to reflect another bizarre American street interaction?
Border Patrol agent Lairmore testifies that he was not injured by the sandwich, but he felt the impact through his ballistic vest.

The sandwich came apart and "kind of exploded" on his chest upon impact, he says.

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 91st day out of the last 103.

12 days of work in 103 days.

With full pay and benefits.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

I just realized that yesterday marked the 31st anniversary of my last game as part of the Twins’ front office, as I escorted Herbie off the field on his final game of a legendary Twins career. To this day still the greatest, most fun job I ever had.

This is absolutely crazy. I escorted him and his family around the Oakland Coliseum shortly after the Twins drafted him with our first pick in 1992. We set up a locker for him in the clubhouse next to Kirby. Serafini was a quiet, intimidated high schooler and his parents couldn’t have been nicer.
