Ok, starting Best Medicine. A new show, inspired by Father Ted starring Josh Charles as a heart surgeon from Boston who relocates to a small town in midcoast Maine. Starting off strong with actual shots of Portland Headlight and Camden Harbor. Also he’s not trying to fake a Mass accent.

Growing up I always knew the name Lee Iococca because it was often a reference on TV shows. But I could not have told you who he was or what he did. Plus it’s a fun name to say. #HATM

Ford’s legacy? Spreading virulent anti-semitism conspiracy theories that people still believe. That and making cars average people could afford. And the assembly line maing people cogs in the machine and making people obsessed with efficiency. #HATM

Phew! Went to a 2000’s club night tonight and it was exactly what I needed! I miss going dancing. Though there was some gaps in the playlist and some gave me side while was I cranking that soulja boy I still had a ton of fun. Feed your soul friends! It helps to keep your head above water.

I love this state.
Lost is memories for a bit there. Today I got the nerve up to try my nana’s whoopie pie recipe. They were my favorite thing and she would make them for me, even sent me a box in college. This is 1000 memories in one bite. Her frosting was different from the out there out there. #HATM

1. Only experiences with wildfires are the smoke from fires in Canada drifting over. Though Maine is still in a drought and we are 95% trees so I kind of feel like it’s only a matter of time.

It’s the end of break, the world is horrible, our government keeps negating the Constitution lessons I just taught, and it’s all a bit too much. So I am doing laundry and tackling the chaos in my room because that is something I have control over and can fix today.
