Today was not my best parenting day. But I can’t beat myself up too badly because my 2 year old, apropos of nothing, climbed in my lap with a blanket because she wanted to “nuggle” and then she hugged me and said “I love you.” I must be doing something right.

I used to handle interlibrary loans for a public library. ILL is a magnificent expression of the idea that readers deserve books, and books deserve readers. It’s libraries everywhere pooling their resources for the benefit of everyone.
