Liverpool and Seattle sports.
Not sure Arsenal will ever have a better chance at winning a treble than this year.

Brian Fleury is the antithesis of what you’d expect a modern day NFL “offensive mind” to look like. He looks like Triple H if instead of walking into a gym in the 80s he picked up a bass guitar.

I really think the club should stop briefing how much they’re backing the manager and actually back him with a new contract given they’re going to have to do it regardless if he’s staying on past this season.

Hopefully the cover is a higher res than the shitty AI graphics they’ve been churning out all season.
buying the Hawkblogger book and dying from alcohol poisoning after playing the "take a shot for every page that's just AI slop"

The Sunderland match makes for a good comparison as both teams had 12 throw-ins.
Liverpool took 02:08 to take theirs. Sunderland used up 05:03.
Sunderland took almost 50 seconds to take a throw on against us. Why is a team given that amount of time for a throw because they want hurl the ball into the opposition box, it's bollocks. Same amount of time taken on the halfway line would be a booking 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

My Michael Owen spidey senses are going off with Bukayo Saka.

I spent the last two weeks hearing how the Patriots had the best coaching staff in the league, how Mike Vrabel particularly was the best game-planning coach in the league, just to have them simultaneously shit the bed on the biggest stage imaginable.
Devon Witherspoon revealed in a radio interview that Mike Macdonald identified from film study that the Patriots offensive linemen were effectively tipping their pitches with their stances.

Put that in the pantheon of Super Bowl coaching contributions.

Gotten far too used to it, but taking a step back, how mad is it that Cooper Kupp is a Super Bowl champions with the Seattle Seahawks.

I’m so happy for Sam Darnold—and so happy to have been wrong about him. Just an unbelievable story, amongst quite a few on the team.

That halftime show was amazing, Bad Bunny has a real way of transcending language to get you right in the feels.

I see the UFC are back to censoring national flags at the whim of the current American administration.

Labour should be beating Reform over the head with this for the next 3 years. Instead, they’re still awarding contracts in the hundreds of millions to Thiel’s firm.

The entire landscape just feels so hopeless—it’s there for all to see, and nothing will be done. Nobody can be arsed.
Definitely seems like they destroyed the country on purpose.

75% - The highest aerial duel success rates in Europe’s big five leagues this season (min. 45):

Kike Salas (81.3% - 39/48)
Luka Vuskovic (80% - 92/115)
Lucas Torró (77.3% - 75/97)
Virgil van Dijk (77.3% - 119/154)
Jérémy Jacquet (75.5% - 37/49)

Imposing.

Not got many thoughts on the Jacquet stuff—I just hope we’re not going into next season reliant on a 20 y/o and a 19 y/o fresh off an ACL tear.

The Premier League as a product is just abysmal right now.

Teams just have zero incentive to set their team up to do anything but be compact and see if you can get something from a set piece in even game states at this point.
First 30/35 minutes today was more like an NFL game than a footy match. The whole period was just waiting for Newcastle to restart play with a goal kick, long throw or corner.
Just 12 mins ball in play time in the first 30, 22 in the 1st half and 49 mins overall!!
The PL is reaching a tipping point

Genuinely reckon Barnsley are better than them. The fact they qualified for the knockouts is bonkers.
From the "records no one other than me and maybe, like, 14 other people care about" department: Liverpool's win over Qarabag was the most lopsided Champions League match (by xG differential) since 2010.

Seeing the way Patriots fans are talking about our defence compared to the Broncos and Texans is fun.

You know what, if Maye is capable of stuff like this against us, fair enough.
Matthew Stafford opened up the second half with a doozy. What a throw.

This is why I’m getting an Ernest Jones jersey if we win it all.
OH MY GOD LOL
