Oooh, well said. Even little random stuff. Looking at my 401K and thinking they wouldn't really confiscate accounts of people they don't like ... right?
Part of the reason that it's hard to "adult" right now is that most of what you're expected to do in "adulting" is activity to set up a stable future.
But most of us have felt for a long time that stability is a lie being told to us with enough "one in a lifetime" disasters every 6 months...

Bluesky should take down any post by a Federal Agency that violates the Hatch Act and notify DOJ of the violation. Alternately, Bluesky should add a note to such posts pointing out the violation and then notify DOJ. Regardless of how, Bluesky should not allow this site to be used for propaganda!

We're witnessing the most aggressive, fanatical crackdown on free speech in my lifetime. The speed and breadth of government censorship and private sector and nonprofit capitulation has been astonishing. As has the lack of urgency/silence from people who've long claimed to care about this stuff.

The only serious misinformation I have seen on the left lately is that the 2024 election was stolen, and specifically that Elon Musk changed votes with Starlink. I have seen pushback whenever it comes up. And I believe it started with a right wing nut job
The downside to doing nothing but consuming right-wing misinformation is that it breaks your brain into thinking a bunch of people also consume left-wing misinformation and act on it.
The stats don't bear this out.
