Do we think Reform are worried Boris Johnson will come back to ‘save’ the Tory Party? That’s the vibe I’m getting.

I always listen to The News Agents but my favourite episodes are when Luke Tryl is on! I absolutely love hearing about polling results and what people have said in focus group. It’s absolutely fascinating!

Nigel Farage is the biggest charlatan in British political history.

And here's what his constitutents in Clacton really think:

Labour don’t know how to talk to people. Look at some MPs social media. For most, it is clearly not them writing posts. That is pretty obvious but even if it’s on an unconscious level voters know. In these uncertain times you can’t afford this level of disconnection. Find the time to communicate.

Ditching this patronising "You should have looked after yourself better" attitude would also be a start.

Disability can hit anyone at any time. It's as much bad luck as bad habits.
Avoid sugar, junk food, don't get fat, smoke or vape would be a start. So it comes back to education and heath. it all about "Change".

We will be judged on how we treat the people who find themselves in difficult circumstances.

And that's why there's so much opposition to this bill.

- I spoke to @nickyaacampbell.bsky.social about the Welfare Bill today.

Today with @nickyaacampbell.bsky.social on @bbc5live.bsky.social I heard such powerful testimony from Viv.

I didn't come into the Labour Party to inflict the sort of misery that she was talking about.

That's why I've signed the Amendment to the Welfare Bill and believe this bill shouldn't proceed.

I seem to remember my son's "signing on" process took about 2 years, a massive paper form + supporting documents, an interview, a refusal, a "mandatory reconsideration", another refusal, and - finally - a positive tribunal outcome.

PIP is already designed to exclude and hope people don't appeal
That cabinet minister Pat McFadden has done the morning broadcast rounds claiming huge numbers are “signing on” to PIP daily demonstrates why the government has a rebellion on its hands: the disability benefits cuts are not simply immoral - they are based on blatant lies few MPs wish to repeat.

This can be achieved through improvements in the Labour market, along side increases in NHS and employment support. Not by impoverishing disabled people and their families further from next April by cutting their benefits before all these measures are in place.

I've signed this as I believe there are alternative ways we can achieve the Government's goals of increasing employment while reducing sickness and disability cases, therefore reducing overall disability benefits spending.
