Looking forward to this!
Delighted to see this mock up of the front cover of my first book, due to be published later in the Summer with @cambridgeup.bsky.social .

It's been several years in the making, and has had input and guidance from so many people - but it nearly exists!

This brilliant new mural on Govan Road in Glasgow is of Mary Barbour, a Scottish political activist and social policy pioneer of the early 20th Century. She first made a name for herself leading the rent strikes of 1915.

Someone working on diplomatic could get a full article out of "concepts of 'copy'" in popular understanding of Magna Carta. Hey ho.

Fun, though, and genuinely hard work to establish this,as well as great outcomes from sharing collections information online.

My thoughts on the disgraceful removal of Dr Carla Hayden as Librarian of Congress (and the Archivist of the United States too). LC and NARA are part if the infrastructure of democracy in America, and are under attack. on.ft.com/4mdynBU The US Library of Congress is under attack

Some excellent articles in The London Journal's 50th issue.

Particularly enjoyed Nur Sobers-Khan and Shahed Saleem's article on the vernacular architecture of London mosques. Some fascinating reflections on the thought proccess behind Saleem's co-curated V&A pavillion at the Venice Bienalle, 2021

This post by a former NARA employee is good, outlining some of its powers and responsibilities.

I knew that NARA administered the Electoral College. There’s a lot of similarly important stuff.

It will *not be good* for the next Archivist of the United States to be a Trump stooge.
