I found and mapped every London pub almost shut by council noise complaints last year for @londonermag.bsky.social
Often only one neighbour would complain about issues as small as "faint giggles" but they'd still succeed.

I trained 44 years ago in a School of Nursing of a local hospital before sitting national exam. Paid to train! Still nursing now. 🤷♀️ People can’t afford to go into nursing and qualify in debt. Unaffordable for anyone unless they are single and living with Mum and Dad!
