A friend’s son has his first flight as a fully qualified commercial pilot today! He’s shot up a lot since the last time I saw him. Although heroin does calm the nerves.

Not only did Brexit not provide any extra money for the NHS - as liar-in-chief Boris Johnson promised - but Brexit is impoverishing the UK each year by an amount of money not far off the annual NHS budget.

Thanks Farage.

I have no sympathy for landlords. They have contributed to the housing crisis.

Today, Labour is going to announce a return to PFI for the NHS- which is a total disaster. But they’ve renamed it the “NHS neighbourhood rebuild”. Don’t be fooled 🚨

I’ve explained what’s going on in this piece I’ve just written- open.substack.com/pub/jujuliag...

There are three things Rachel Reeves should bear in mind tomorrow: obscene wealth doesn't 'trickle down', tax cuts don't 'pay for themselves' and the private sector isn't 'more efficient'

Neoliberals squeeze wages and call for real cuts to pension.

Thousands will die prematurely.

Remember how we kept getting told that a European Army was a REALLY BAD idea?
It's January 31st, 2020, and Nathan Gill is celebrating our imminent departure from the EU.... and that terrible idea of a European Army.

Hmm, now I wonder who else would have been delighted about that.

Ermm there seems to have been a lot more reporting about an error made on Have I Got New for You, which incorrectly said that Tony Blair’s son had won a massive government contract regarding digital IDs, than the actual news that Blair’s son has partnered with Palantir …

PFI - you’ve probably heard the term, but what do they really mean for the NHS? 💷

Answer: more debt, less public money for staff & patients. And now PPPs could make it worse. Get the facts 👇

The stupidity of Farage’s latest ‘plan’ is staggering.
Claiming they’d save British taxpayers money by ripping up international commitments and starting a trade war with Europe is the puerile foot-stamp of a party that uses prejudice as policy. Ruinous nonsense.

Party claims its policies would eliminate ‘black hole’ Rachel Reeves faces in the budget – but Labour says the ‘fantasy numbers don’t add up’
