I used to denigrate sports radio - and a lot of it is awful - but WXYT this morning, inspired by Mike Tomlin's retirement from coaching, is taking calls from people who have worked at their jobs for a long time. "What's changed? Why do you still do it?"

Yeesh. They used to do some uplifting profile on Fridays of a regular person doing good in the world. Steve Hartman did them, I think.

Some staff were only first made aware of it as they encountered CBS testing out set designs of a faux-stocked bar in the newsroom, featuring a large sponsor banner for Jack Daniels.

I always liked MT and I hope that he gets a nice TV contract if he wants it. CBS would be great - they'd have thirty some years worth of Steelers coaches under contract.

One season of dealing with Aaron Rodgers was one season too many.
