There’s also the problem of the simultaneous domineering demands for subservience & the concurrent claim that ICE agents are traumatized whittle babies who “fear for their lives” and need to have their feelings considered. Are they big, mean, scary bullies or sensitive children? You can’t have both.

One of the (several) problems with the demand that bystanders and targeted people be immediately compliant with ICE agents is that fleeing ICE is incredibly rational. They’re violent, piggish thugs who disappear some people into horrendous gulags and shoot others in the face.

Watched the Diddy doc. Listening to the jurors speak at the end reminded me of why the Depp/Heard trial in the US went so wrong. It’s time that trials concerning abuse were overseen by experts in the field and not members of the public with no exp in these matters. Especially not starstruck ones.

Something I’ve thought a lot about in recent years is how consent has gone out the window when it comes to social media. You go out for a drink with friends and you’ll end up on their Instagram, even worse a video on TikTok. Nobody asks you for permission. Even worse the same people post daily..
