I captured this scorpionfish in Sogod Bay, Philippines. It was the most colorful scorpionfish I've ever seen. I took it with my Sony RX100 Mark IV, Nauticam housing, and YS-D3 strobe.

I took approximately a zillion shots on this evening and then went back two days later because it was so incredible. There's something truly special about the light in December.

Fig stems from a recent pruning. They get covered with sand, watered, then banished to the cold basement for the winter. In the spring I'll have dozens of rooted sections to give away to friends and neighbors. #ficus #figs #gardening
