Got 5 miles into the 10 mile warmup before the race and almost threw up 3x because the post nasal drip was so bad. Bailed on the rest of the run including the Shamrock Run.
Came home and 5 hours later nailed 12.65 mile with 24 minutes at 3%, 9 minutes at 5% and 9 minutes at 7% in the middle.

I must be insane because I’ve become the type of marathoner that would rather do 3 hours on a treadmill after work tonight than my long run tomorrow, with people, finishing with the Shamrock Run.

I have been delayed by 30-45 minutes but never had to reroute an entire trip. And more often than not, I’ve still arrived on time despite the slight delays.

I never have an issue flying Southwest, but man... Other airlines are such a struggle.

Booked the sim online at the Dome for 5-8 Super Bowl Sunday to specifically avoid the Super Bowl. Got a call that they close at 6pm. I said “bummer, we are trying to avoid watching the Super Bowl this year,” and the response was “so are we, that’s why we’re closing.”
