Been mulling around my Sci-Fi universe in my head. Been a while since I went there since Fantasy has been more forefront of my mind.

But I have a story alway fleshed out on humanity adapting to AI, and vice-versa.

At some point, we acknowledge they are like humans and have needs to.

If you have to ask if that's fog or tear gas, you might live in Minnesota.

If hearing "The Ice is awful this year" means two VERY different things to you, you might live in Minnesota.

If being in the neighborhood watch means also being on a fed watch list, you might live in Minnesota.

Look, all I'm saying is this country started going downhill when we forgot why kids love the taste of cinnamon toast crunch.

Under the weather today. Well technically I'm always under the weather, unless I somehow become a space man.

Good morning Bluesky! Despite all the awful things going on in the world, there are still some good things.

Just remember, cats in hoodies are always adorable.

I miss my #garden. 2024 we had a community garden plot we could walk to every day.

Sunny delight squashes, Black Vernissage tomatos, and even eggplant later in the season.

Growing is so fulfilling I miss it in the dead of winter!

I genuinely don't understand the hype over Arc Raiders. I'll admit extraction shooters aren't a genre I enjoy, but even beyond that I just don't get it.

The art style doesn't appeal to me at all, the world doesn't seem interesting, and the "bots bad" dynamic is far too overplayed.

@amerrill2.bsky.social I did not know you were in Bluesky, and now that I do I need to watch Cartoon Planet and The Brak Show again.

Thank you for the childhood and adulthood memories!

I need to start redoing what I went to Twitter to do in the first place: Prop up other indie writers as best I can.

Genuinely loved retweeting book plugs and engaging the community to better understand how folks make their writing dreams come true.

Bluesky can make social media worthwhile again.

They say #reading #books is like connecting with the #author.

I have been going to therapy for wanting to make connections again, I just find it very difficult after all I've been through.

But I do(and don't) want connection, and perhaps I can rekindle a desire to by reading more books.

My toxic trait is I can make a pun of everything. Including during wildly inappropriate moments.

Just ask my wife.

I don't think Dem leadership fully realizes we may have more independents taking office soon if they don't play their cards right.

The two party illusion is fading, and it is not glamourous.

"Yo man, are you a paladin? Cause you sure are casting judgment a lot here."

Free nerdy comeback to so many toxic scenarios.

Gaslighting, generalizations, and let's not forget, when your uppity bard thinks he's better than everyone else.

All this stuff with ICE in MN simply reaffirms my belief in minimal federal government.

Just like when BLM started(and I defended police fervently), so many who don't even live here have an opinion based on heresay and social media.

People who live here are still figuring it out.

The only reason most people want to hide valuable life skills from one side or another is because they plan on using that information against one another.

In a country where we see people as fellow countrymen, we would only celebrate those we disagree with learning new perspectives and skills.
