I see more criticism here of Democrats in Congress than I do condemnation of Republicans.

@chrislhayes.bsky.social: On Day One, Donald Trump will already be a lame duck president. He is term-limited by the 22nd Amendment. That isn't to say he won't do dangerous things, or that he doesn't control his party. But with every passing day, he sheds a little more of his political capital.

Reading the pardon coverage...I don't think the significance of the Gaetz/Patel/Bondi nominations has sunk in. People still aren't getting what a politicized DOJ and FBI, with the power to arrest/bug/harass anyone for any reason, would be able to do.
