Took a run up to kick a ball in the gym at school, slipped & landed heavy on my ass. I thought I’d broke my leg but I’d actually dislocated my hip. Had an operation the same day to have it pinned back in place. The pins were later removed but now I’ve got arthritis in the joint. Still got the pins!
What is the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself?
I was working in a kitchen while going to school. We were cleaning up at the end of the day and I had removed a vat of hot oil (~3gl/11lt) it was still hot about 200f/94c.

I was learning how to do handstands. During a dismount, I landed just *slightly* the wrong way and fucked up my Achilles tendon.
It took 9 months, 2 physiotherapists, and a specialist to fix it. 🤦♂️
