For anyone wanting to change the gender marker on their New Zealand birth certificate, maybe get it done asap. There is no indication that the government will repeal the law. But really, who the hell knows with this cluster fuck in potentia now in power.

A quick reminder to everyone in NZ that progress is not linear. It never has been. There will always be set backs, and this new government is one of them.
But they’ll never be able to undo all the progress we have made over recent years, and when they are gone, we will continue pushing forward.
