Vox is scarily competent and dangerous with anyone else, but with Alastor he loses his braincells because he values his words and validation higher than anything and anyone else (save for himself of course).
Alastor has him wrapped around his finger with a few words and Vox is blind to it ❤️

Alastor says Vox is begging? Vox immediately needs to show Al that he's demanding Val to do it, not begging. Alastor wonder what Vox contributes? Vox immediately needs to make sure he is front and center to show that he is in charge.

It's not that they don't care about him. They believe Alastor to be competent enough to handle himself since he is a very powerful Overlord. That is the image the Radio Demon is to the world. The group trusts Al to know what he is doing, which Alastor 100% does.

I'm seeing many people being angry about the Hotel crew not trying to save Alastor and thinking they don't care about him... Did you all forget Alastor proposed the deal to Vox while Niffty and Husk looked on? Also that no one looked for Alastor after the season 1 finale? The reaction makes sense.
