Alastor says Vox is begging? Vox immediately needs to show Al that he's demanding Val to do it, not begging. Alastor wonder what Vox contributes? Vox immediately needs to make sure he is front and center to show that he is in charge.

It's not that they don't care about him. They believe Alastor to be competent enough to handle himself since he is a very powerful Overlord. That is the image the Radio Demon is to the world. The group trusts Al to know what he is doing, which Alastor 100% does.
