Our society is a product of stoked fear... [but] Striking out violently against people you do not agree with is never ok."

America, we have to talk — Charlie O'Donnell - Coach, Writer, VC
I didn’t like Charlie Kirk or anything he stands for. He and others like him made me angry. If I ever met him and got into a conversation with him, I think there’s a very strong chance I’d want to pun...

Is it me? $40B out of $73.1B = 54.72%.

So, of the remaining 45.28%, every other startup was only 3.63% of the total? Meaning that, without OpenAI, AI represented just 8% of all VC money?
In Q1 2025, AI and ML startups raised $73.1B, accounting for 57.9% of global VC funding, with OpenAI's recent round led by SoftBank contributing $40B (Jacob Robbins/PitchBook)

In 2009, I was kayaking in the Hudson when a helicopter collided w/a small plane. Nine ppl died. I was one of the first to the crash site. Can't believe more than 15yrs later we have an even more devastating crash + still haven't put in safety regs and warning systems to prevent this from happening.

You have about 200k in the bank and 0 debt. You have the best money managers in the world putting this to work. You spend 20k on a purchase you’ve been dreaming about your whole life and then spend another 7500 to upgrade it.

This was Steve Cohen’s Juan Soto decision, just w/way more zeros. #mets
