i will always be so confused as to why pokemon made applin's new evo in scvi a three stage instead of a two??? and i swear no-one even remembers dipplin exists! i thought it was a regional form until i replayed recently and found out it's a midstage for some reason!
a photo of the pokemon's applin's evolution chart. it shows that applin evolves into flapple from a tart apple, appletun from a sweet apple, and dipplin from a syrupy apple. dipplin looks noticably very similar to it's previous evolution. the chart also shows that dipplin, and only dipplin, has a third evolution, evolving into hydrapple after learing the move dragon cheer

Feels like the "$80/£80 games are just matching inflation; games in the 1990s cost $100 in today's money" argument *is* technically accurate, but misses out on a major detail - wages haven't risen and everything else is expensive now.

I'd take 1990s game prices if we still had 1990s house prices.
