If the Attorney General is yelling at Congress members during an oversight committee, screaming that the President is the greatest ever and everyone owes him an apology, when the Justice Department is supposed to be an independent entity, maybe she should be immediately dismissed.

Balint: Please stop talking. Was Trump aware of Nutlick ties to Epstein when he chose him?
Bondi: Shame on you.
Balint: This is pathetic. I am not asking trick questions. The American people deserve to know. These are senior Trump officials. #cdnpoli

get ready for the announcement saying they will no longer be tracking global corruption
In a shocking result, the USA has slipped to a record low on the corruption perceptions index. This is a measure of public sector corruption from Transparency International, a watchdog organization. Despite corruption rising globally, the USA has steadily slid further in the rankings to 29th place.

Bondi acts like she has a very personal stake in all this that runs deeper than simply wanting to keep her own ass out of jail.

Like she either participated in or witnessed a murder, or the aftermath.

That is a warning.

That’s what’s frightening.

It’s not the theatrics. It’s not even the hostility.

It’s the certainty.

The certainty that no matter how brazen the deflection, no matter how obvious the evasion, the system will hold, for them.

And she did it with the confidence of someone who believes there will be no consequences. She behaves as if there will be no consequences.

That’s the part that should shake people to their core.
