I hope most people realize how ridiculous it is for Trump to encourage Republicans to vote to release the files WHEN HE CAN RELEASE THEM WHENEVER HE WANTS. The whole reason the discharge petition exists in the first place is because his administration tried to cover up what’s in the files.

Good fucking morning to everyone except Donald Trump, who continues to pardon the worst of the worst—Ponzi schemers, cop beaters, sexual abusers, and more. Why is he doing it? Because they’re paying him or someone in his orbit off. He basically admitted that a few weeks ago and the media ignored it.

When will this stop?
A US citizen filmed federal agents smashing his car window, as authorities begin a surge of immigration enforcement operations in North Carolina.

The Honduran-born Charlotte resident filed a police report after the officers let him go.

Donald Trump commuted the sentence of a Ponzi schemer named Eliyahu Weinstein, WHO WAS JUST SENTENCED AGAIN TO 37 YEARS IN PRISON FOR STEALING $40 MILLION FROM HIS CLIENTS.

The corruption is unbelievable.

From street marches to court battles to the ballot box - we’ve challenged the power of this exceptionally unpopular president.

The lesson from each success we've had is that we need to ramp the political pressure up, always up, not back down, now more than ever.

Did the Democratic senators who voted for the resolution last night see the election results on Tuesday? Because it sure doesn’t look like it.

How in the world did any Democratic senator think that voting for this resolution was a good idea?

Good fucking morning to everyone except Donald Trump's lawyers, who filed an emergency appeal to the Supreme Court to block a ruling requiring the government to fully fund food assistance for 40 million Americans. After voting to give billionaires tax breaks and making health care more expensive, Derrick Van Orden has refused to hold a town hall to talk to the voters he works for in a face-to-face conversation. So, I'm heading to Wisconsin to help give the people he's supposed to represent a voice.
Pete Buttigieg to campaign against Derrick Van Orden in La Crosse

When we were deployed, some Afghans risked their lives to help us. Now Trump wants to send them out to be killed by the Taliban.

It’s a disgrace, a betrayal, and a decision that endangers future US troops.
Exclusive: The U.S. government asked a judge to deport a man to Afghanistan, where he expects the Taliban to kill him. Legal experts say the case could have consequences for Afghans the U.S. rescued and promised to support.

We can’t let this happen.

And any Republican who refuses to renew health care subsidies for hardworking American families, saying we can’t afford it, needs to explain how they found $1 trillion in tax cuts to give away to the wealthiest people in America.
