I am horrified. If you use US material, download all old reports you use. The record will be erased. Even that might not save you: every report sourced from the US will now have to be suspected of politicised manipulation and will in the future the same credibility as Iran’s human rights reports

Frankfurt. Who buys a house today and has to pay all fees&taxes at purchase (11-12% of agreed price) and gets a mortgage at 3.5% p.a. either doesn’t care about money or is very bullish on the local real estate market.

Trump says the bad jobs numbers out today are fake and from a Biden appointee.

Trump: I was just informed that our Country's "Jobs Numbers" are being produced by a Biden Appointee, Dr. Erika McEntarfer, the Commissioner of Labor Statistics, who faked the Jobs Numbers before the Election to try and boost Kamala's chances of Victory. This is the same Bureau of Labor Statistics that overstated the Jobs Growth in March 2024 by approximately 818,000 and, then again, right before the 2024 Presidential Election, in August and September, by 112,000. These were Records - No one can be that wrong? We need accurate Jobs Numbers. I have directed my Team to fire this Biden Political Appointee, IMMEDIATELY. She will be replaced with someone much more competent and qualified. Important numbers like this must be fair and accurate, they can't be manipulated for political purposes. McEntarfer said there were only 73,000 Jobs added (a shock!) but, more importantly, that a major mistake was made by them, 258,000 Jobs downward, in the prior two them, 258,000 Jobs downward, in the prior two months. Similar things happened in the first part of the year, always to the negative. The Economy is BOOMING under "TRUMP" despite a Fed that also plays games, this time with Interest Rates, where they lowered them twice, and substantially, just before the Presidential Election, I assume in the hopes of getting "Kamala" elected - How did that work out? Republicans are taking us back at least 20 years on energy and climate policy. They effectively killed all of the IRA tax credits last night. Now the Senate is ignoring the Parliamentarian to rescind the California Clean Air Act waiver that allows California to establish strict emissions standards.

Shows a cool half a trillion dollars in announced projects and more than 100,000 jobs across 2,217 facilities currently threatened by potential IRA repeal.
A chart shows the top 20 states for operational jobs expected from announced investments in clean energy facilities not yet online. Georgia, Texas, Michigan, South Carolina and Kentucky top the list with more than 10,000 jobs at risk in each state. Screen capture from Clean Investment Monitor reads "Our analysis highlights the significant role in job creation of the 2,369 new manufacturing, utility-scale clean electricity, and industrial decarbonization facilities that have opened across the US since the enactment of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). Spurred by $321 billion in company-driven clean investment, those facilities have created nearly 13,000 operational jobs in Texas, more than 12,500 in Georgia, and more than 7,500 in North Carolina and Michigan. New out today from my team @rhodiumgroup.bsky.social - $321B has been invested since the passage of the IRA in Q3 2022 and $522B is currently outstanding, including projects that are announced or under construction. 75% of outstanding investment is in R districts. (fig below from NYT)
