For the record I am on the other side of surgery now and doing fine (and incredibly full of pain meds, I imagine) but I am now short one ovary and its fallopian tube because the lil fucker had twisted.

Jfc surgery was not how I expected my Monday to go, but when an ovary ends up measuring 9 fucking centimeters it's kinda got to go, huh.

I have also seen the optometrist for the exam needed to see if I qualify for lasik enhancement, and put all my vital docs and check stock back in my safe deposit box. I am a responsible adult!!!

$210 USD later and I have successfully applied for both a passport book and card, and I don't even look -too- hideous in the photo to boot.

Went to the eye doctor for a yearly checkup and they dilated my eyes, then went grocery shopping to get frozen pizza and ice cream because today is self care and praxis is tomorrow, but in retrospect the cashier probably thought I was high as a kite. ='V

I said I wasn't going to look at any vote counts until like noon on the 6th, and then I proceeded to not do that and checked right before getting ready for bed. Welp, I took vacation this week anyways, who needs sleep when I can just stare at my ceiling with anxiety.

when @caytsordina.bsky.social sends me a fancy dress i absolutely have to put my WoL in it & come up with a whole AU, them's just the rules. Keim is the Ambassador of Light, and won't tolerate anyone but Yuli as her bodyguard. Neither are particularly competent, but they are enthusiastic #ffxiv 🎨
