I shoulda asked if they could just remove the other tube as long as they were in there, like I get leaving the ovary so I dont have to deal with menopause but trust me ma'am, the whole system has been nothing but trouble since day 1.

It was mildly hilarious that the ob asked about if I have or want kids since the best plan was going to take the whole ovary and even 5 doses deep of painkillers I just went "absolutely not you get that lil fucker out of there" 😂

The dr took photos tho and oh man are they -gnarly- looking. One has both ovaries in view so you can see just how big the right one is, and the fallopian tube was this horrible angry dark purple.

I am, and thankfully pain wise I just feel sore across my stomach (kinda like when I had bronchitis) instead of the 9/10 pain that managed to persist thru 2 doses of fentanyl and 3 of dilaudid.
